“Dear residents, There has been a rise in the number of robberies reported along the Greenway. Please be careful when you are using the Greenway during the hours of darkness. We advise you to try and use alternative routes where possible. Remain vigilant when you are wearing headphones and do not be distracted by your mobile phone! Last night the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team arrested one male for attempted robbery and possession of drugs. Please send us a private message if you have any information or concerns. “
The GAG think that the advice “to try and use alternative routes where possible” is not an acceptable solution for this problem.
