According to a post by PC Chaplin on the Next Door website the Police are currently looking for witnesses to a Sexual Assault said to have occurred on the Greenway and at Plaistow Tube Station in November 2021.
The appeal reads as follows:
WITNESS APPEAL. On THURSDAY 25th NOVEMBER 2021, in the morning between 07:30 and 08:30hrs, on the GREENWAY PLAISTOW and on THURSDAY 2nd DECEMBER 2021 between 07:30 and 11:00hrs in the vicinity of PLAISTOW tube station, a male has approached females from behind and sexually assaulted them. He is described as a black male, age range from 19 to early twenties, approximately 6 feet tall, slim to skinny build wearing a facemask, dark hoody which was up, blue tracksuit and black bodywarmer.
